Earthquake Aid Turkey and Syria

The earthquakes of 6 February 2023 shook large parts of Turkey and Syria, destroying not only buildings but taking more than 40,000 lives.
The MOESCHTER Group would also like to do its part to alleviate the suffering in this region as quickly as possible and to help the people, with whom we also have a very special relationship through our workforce. That is why we have decided to support the organisation Welthungerhilfe e.V. with a donation of 5,000€.

We chose Welthungerhilfe e.V. because the organisation stands for "help for self-help". The organisation discloses where and how the donations are used and stands for transparent corporate governance. 

Donations to this aid organisation are used for the following measures at the time of donation:

• Distribution of ready-to-eat food, baby nappies, hygiene items, household items, winter clothing, tents and fuel.
• Setting up a soup kitchen
• Setting up an emergency shelter
• Setting up latrines and water tanks
