Spacer sleeves made from high-performance ceramics are used whenever a defined clearance must be created between two components or in situations where a distance must be bridged.

They are used in difficult conditions in aggressive environments such as thermal shock or acids. Furthermore, high wear resistance is required.

They offer the advantage of high impact resistance, outstanding electrical insulation and, in induction applications, the benefit of high thermal-shock resistance and neutrality in the induction field.
