Bobbin cores are usually round parts with a large groove into which a copper coil is wound. This coil induces a magnetic field in the centre of the coil. It can be used to move metallic objects and liquids.

A ceramic bobbin is frequency-neutral and extremely temperature-stable, which focuses the magnetic field on the copper. The bobbin can also be made from plastic, mica, GFRP or glass-ceramics because specific properties of these materials may be beneficial depending on the field of application.

Solutions - Bobbin cores

Areas of application for the product include soldering pumps or electrical magnets. Thanks to the beneficial properties of ceramic such as temperature and chemical resistance and the required frequency neutrality, bobbins made from aluminium oxide are also used virtually without restriction in every conceivable application.
